Sarah Woolner is a BAFTA award winning screenwriting graduate of the National Film and Television School where she collaborated with ﬁction, documentary and animation directors on award winning films.
She co-wrote critically lauded short MORNING with Irish director Cathy Brady; MORNING was selected for the BFI London Film Festival, nominated by the European Film Academy and won an IFTA in February.
Sarah recently scooped a BAFTA for writing animation SLEEPING WITH THE FISHES, that was also awarded the grand prize at Seoul International Animation and Cartoon Festival and the audience choice award at the London International Animation Film Festival.
She was selected for BAFTA TV Pitch Up with her television series THE TAFFIA, about a family of disorganised criminals in South West Wales and is currently working on revenge thriller Mary Had A Little Lamb, inspired by her own experience having a father who worked as an undercover detective on the Flying Squad. Sarah is represented by Marnie Podos at United Agents.
